A Pitching Deck is a type of presentation that entrepreneurs and startup founders use to present their business to investors and potential partners. The purpose of a Pitching Deck is to articulate the value of the business, explain the problem the business will solve and how it will be profitable. The key elements of a Pitching Deck include the key customer segments, a description of the product or service, an overview of the market opportunity, competitive analysis, a description of the business model and financial projections. The goal of a Pitching Deck is to convince potential investors and partners of the potential of the business, its growth potential and profitability.


A good Pitching Deck should be concise, well-organized and visually attractive. The goal is to make it easy for potential investors to understand the value of the business in a short period of time. A good Pitching Deck should also be tailored to the specific potential investor or partner, as different investors may be looking for different elements of a business. For example, an angel investor may be more interested in the long-term growth potential, while a venture capital firm may be primarily interested in the more tangible, short-term returns.
